I dislike writing in journal's but because I'm on a weight loss journey this one is by far the best journal I have come across!! Well worth every penny! It helps teach and remind you to love yourself first each day, stress relief, vitamin intake for the day, thoughts, feelings, food tracking, water intake and to eat beautiful and healthy for your body because you are worth it!! I will definitely keep purchasing!!! Thank you for amy perfect journal!!
My daughter has been using this. She intially rejected it when she saw the flowery cover. I thought maybe I would keep it for myself. As I leafed through the pages, I saw lists of foods that help with various ailments. I also noticed the food diary part also asks how a person feels at meal time. I showed it to my teen and she now loves the book!
Initially, when I bought this, I thought this would just be a food diary. Turns out, it's a great read. I felt very inspired and motivated. I learned a lot about healthy lifestyle and about myself. The book provides a different outlook on our eating and living habits.
I love this journal. It provides a lot of valuable information about the health benefits of foods and takes a really positive approach to eating in a way that treats your body well. I don't generally like keeping track of my food, but this does it in a way that encourages eating for the good of your body, rather than meticulously counting calories. It really helps me to think about the cause and effects of what I put into my body.
I am in love with the whole Eat Pretty series. The collection of books and the journal have really helped change how I look at food. I love that the journal doesn't just ask you what you ate but also how that food made you feel. There are not many pages for entries so I made sure to write one on a good eating day and one on a bad eating day. This reminds me of how I feel after the bad choice meals and helps me stay on focus. I highly recommend these books to anyone that is serious about nutrition.
I have Jolene Hart's Eat Pretty cookbook and I have used it extensively. I follow her social media pages as well and love everything she has to say. So it was a no-brainer to get this journal when it came out. It is just as pretty and eye catching as her cookbook. Pretty things motivate me =) May sound funny but it keeps my attention more than a plain black and white print book with no art. The journal is very interactive and the daily food diary is very useful. It may not be enough for the health enthusiast who already knows their stuff but I find it helpful and encouraging for me.
An easy read with lots of good information. Only thing I'd like better is bigger text and in a more readable color. The light green is harder for older eyes. But I'd recommend.
One of my favorite gifts to give my clients! It feels perfectly crafted for a feminine hand and a feminine style. Each page offers great nutritional information and inviting to use. It's a great wellness journal to give as a gift or to motivate yourself into a healthier and happier way of living.
